Michigan Adopt-a-Cop

The Michigan Adopt-a-Cop prayer protection program started in Jackson County, Michigan in 2007. After meeting with a few other police officers for prayer it was clear to me that police officers needed not only the prayers of fellow officers but they also needed the prayers of the church. Within 16 months over 60 churches had adopted EVERY law enforcement officer in Jackson County in prayer!  An amazing act of God. And it appears that no other county in the United States has done anything like this.

Shortly after that milestone event, Michael Dye, the author of "Peace Keepers - Bible study for law enforcement officers" randomly (God did it!!) called our ministry to check on us and discovered the recent news of ALL officers covered in prayer.  That got him so excited that he encouraged us to take the program national. But along the way, due to several calls from around the globe asking us to help them set up an Adopt-a-Cop program, we have now been led to go international. Praise God!!!  God is moving and we are just allowing Him and following Him.
